Sunday night, with my friends' help, I set up a candlelight display to respond to Louise Bourgeois' Eyes for the HRC Jazz Funeral Procession. I dream a lot and rarely are they made true... but this was one of the first big visions I have and I got to make it happen and share it with my friends!! I loved the company, the candles, the burning cups, cough cough, and the Gospel Choir as the background music. Maybe, I can dream, and I can make them come true, too.
Sea of Light
Sea of Light
Water overflowed
Cities no longer cities
Sea of the forgotten
Look right into their eyes
Look right into their eyes
There is no turning back
Sea of Light
Sea of Light
Hands lighting warmth
Hands lighting hope
Bring them the light
Sea of Light
Ko, you are going to run the world someday, with your love and endlessly huge heart!
I love you so, and am soooo proud of what you are doing with your life. Your ability
to creatively give and draw people's attention to things that really matter is remarkable.
hug and love to you
